NEIGHBORHOOD CONVENTION
On Tuesday, May 7, Neighborhood Convention will meet at 10:45 a.m. at Good Shepherd Parish Center, School Street and Pacific Avenue in Oak Bluffs. The worship service will be conducted by the parish team and David Nathan will present the program "The Martha's Vineyard Museum, Present and Future." HAITIAN QUILTS PROJECT "CELEBRITY" WAITERS DINNER SATURDAY, MAY 4th, 6-8 PM The very popular "Celebrity" Waiters Dinner to benefit the Haitian Quilts Project will be held in The Federated Church Parish House on Saturday, May 4, 2013, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Join the fun and make your "celebrity" waiters work hard for their tips! This event is sponsored by the Missions Committee.
HEALING MINISTRY Susan Waldrop, with the assistance of Pastor Jerry, will begin a Healing Ministry on Sunday, April 14th, in the Sanctuary following the 10:30 service. All those in need of physical, spiritual or emotional healing are encouraged to attend this special event which will be held subsequently on the 2nd Sunday of each month. Susan will also be contributing her skills to the MV Health Alliance.
CONFIRMATION SUNDAY May 5th, 2013 The Christian Education Committee will host a reception for the Confirmands in the Parish House after the Sunday service.
